Spring Burst - a day of yoga with Jennie Liljefors and Helena Wintre
In spring we need to nourish our roots but also take care of the soil. The practice of yoga can help us recharge so our roots can grow deeper and also clear the ground we stand on by getting rid of unnecessary weeds, so we can bloom and burst.
Welcome to join this lovely day of yoga when we use our practices of yoga, meditation, mantra and writing exercises to deepen and nourish our spiritual growth and to find inspiration to our daily life.
The day will begin with a Sadhana and then a short break to enjoy a lovely green smoothie, then we will practice yoga and pranayama. Followed with a break for lunch served at the studio. After lunch we will practice meditation, mantra and Healing yoga.
The event will take place at Yogashakti on Högbergsgatan. Learn more and sign up.
Spring Equinox - Align with the Divine - Anusarayoga workshop with Jennie Liljefors
Welcome to join a flowing Anusarayoga workshop where we cherish alignment in our bodies and souls like the earth and the sun on an Equinox to find our inner Divinity. We seek for our inner selflove and honesty to scatter the damage so we can grow, bloom and shine bright.
On the day of an Equinox, daytime and nighttime are of approximately equal duration all over the planet. This sacred alignment occurs twice each year and is the moment when the center of the visible Sun is directly above the Equator. The Equinoxes are often regarded as the start of spring and autumn.
Around the world traditional harvest festivals are celebrated around the date of the Equinoxes. In some traditions there is a belief in beautiful fairies called the Anjana's. These female fairy creatures defeat cruelty and ruthlessness. They are kind, generous and protective of all people. They walk through the forest trails, rest on the banks of rivers , they are able to talk with the water that flows from the sources and springs. They help injured animals and trees damaged made by storms, they people who lose their way in love and they help the poor and suffering people. Whenever they wander in villages, they leave gifts at the doors of helpful and kind people. They come when we call them for help, but only if we are good of heart and honest.
Traditions state that around the nigths around the Spring Equinox the Anjana's gather and dance until dawn holding hands and scattering roses. Anyone who manages to find a rose with purple, green, blue, or golden petals will be happy the rest of their life.
