Welcome to join a flowing Anusarayoga workshop where we cherish alignment in our bodies and souls like the earth and the sun on an Equinox to find our inner Divinity. We seek for our inner selflove and honesty to scatter the damage so we can grow, bloom and shine bright.
On the day of an Equinox, daytime and nighttime are of approximately equal duration all over the planet. This sacred alignment occurs twice each year and is the moment when the center of the visible Sun is directly above the Equator. The Equinoxes are often regarded as the start of spring and autumn.
Around the world traditional harvest festivals are celebrated around the date of the Equinoxes. In some traditions there is a belief in beautiful fairies called the Anjana's. These female fairy creatures defeat cruelty and ruthlessness. They are kind, generous and protective of all people. They walk through the forest trails, rest on the banks of rivers , they are able to talk with the water that flows from the sources and springs. They help injured animals and trees damaged made by storms, they people who lose their way in love and they help the poor and suffering people. Whenever they wander in villages, they leave gifts at the doors of helpful and kind people. They come when we call them for help, but only if we are good of heart and honest.
Traditions state that around the nigths around the Spring Equinox the Anjana's gather and dance until dawn holding hands and scattering roses. Anyone who manages to find a rose with purple, green, blue, or golden petals will be happy the rest of their life.
